This is a MALE blue carpenter bee. It is the same species as our other blue bees, only a different sex.
This species can be found in Asia, India and China. Carpenter bees can make honey however it is much thicker and denser than the honey we're used to, like a peanut butter consistency. These specimens radiate stunning blue tones and would make a great addition to your home.
