Small Ram Skull | Paddock Find

This skull was a paddock find. 

The horn sheaths are missing, likely due to scavenging by a Tasmanian devil. There is also a small chew mark on one horn - please refer to the photos. Also has some missing incisor teeth. 

Skull has been cleaned & degreased, with the exception of a small, stubborn grease spot on the back of the skull. This spot has no odour, and further degreasing was stopped to prevent the bone from becoming overly dry.

As the skull was partially buried in mud when found, there is some light, natural staining on the jaw bones, adding to its character and history.
